How Is A Lithograph Made?
A lithograph is produced through a process which is called a printing cycle. A printing cycle uses different chemical processes to create a chosen art poster type, so to speak.
Great example, the image has a positive and a negative side, part of an image would be a hydrophobic chemical, while the negative image would be water.
So when the plate of the art poster is introduced to a matching ink and water combination, the ink will stick to the positive side of the image and the water will clean the negative side of the image, which creates a flat print plate which causes much longer runs than the older physical methods of imaging.
